Professional Background
Mrs. Nelson has an Education Specialist degree in Educational Management from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, a Masters in Educational Psychology from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, and certification in both secondary and post-secondary counseling. Mrs. Nelson has been an educator and counselor, serving as Director of the Career Evaluation Center and gender equity program coordinator at Moberly Area Community College, as an Equal Employment Opportunity investigator in the state of New York and as an adult guidance counselor with the Department of Defense. She joined the Columbia Career Center in 1994. |
