EMT/Paramedic

The paramedic education 18-month program covers all emergency medical concepts and techniques currently considered to be within the responsibilities of the EMT-P providing emergency care in a pre-hospital setting as set forth by the Unit of Emergency Medical Services of the State of Missouri. This program meets or exceeds course requirements established by the US Department of Transportation and the Missouri Unit of Emergency Medical Services. Call 214-3803 for an application. These classes are held in cooperation with the Boone County Fire Protection District.

The EMT-B covers all emergency medical techniques currently considered to be within the responsibility of those providing emergency care in a pre-hospital setting as required by the Missouri Department of Health, Department of Senior Services, Unit of Emergency Medical Services. To be accepted into the course students must have current certification in BLS/CPR, up-to-date immunizations, and have a High School diploma or GED. Students must be pre-approved for this course, so register early. Call (573) 214-3803 for an application.These classes are held in cooperation with the Boone County Fire Protection District. Class held at BCFPD Training Center 2201 I-70 Drive NW, Columbia.
