Pharmacy Technician

Listed as one of the 20 fastest growing occupations in the nation, Pharmacy technicians work in retail or institutional facilities and assist pharmacists in formulating, labeling and dispensing medications. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, about 75% of pharmacy technicians work in a retail setting, while 16% work in hospitals. These different work settings offer a variety of job opportunities and available work schedules. Many institutional facilities and retail pharmacies remain open 24 hours a day, offering you the opportunity to select a schedule and position that fits your lifestyle.

Our Online Pharmacy Technician training program includes 14 modules and a final exam designed to help students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to work in both retail and institutional settings, and to prepare students for national certification exams. Numerous exercises and assessments throughout each module ensure that students master each concept before moving on, and knowledgeable student support advisors are available from program start to finish.
