Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

The job of a CNA can be one that is extremely fulfilling. CNAs give patients important social and emotional support as well as providing important information on patient conditions to nurses. CNAs work in nursing homes, hospitals, mental health facilities, assisted living facilities and private homes. Job prospects for CNAs are expected to be excellent due to the increasing long-term care needs of an aging population.

Our 4 month program includes classroom instruction as well as 100 hours of clinical experience in area skilled-care facilities. Classroom sessions include basic nursing skills, anatomy and physiology and nutrition and infection control. Students also gain a large amount of hands-on experience during clinical activities. At the completion of the program students will sit for the CNA exam and upon passing the exam, become certified in that field. ght. Between our state-of the-art training facilities, instructors with extensive experience in the medical field and curriculum providing everything you need to know about your area of study, our programs are sure to be the step you've been looking for on the path to your new career.

Evening CNA runs Tuesday & Thursday from 5:00pm - 8:00pm, 05/29/12 - 08/28/12.
