Business and Industry
The Business & Industry Training Department offers high-tech training for a high-tech world. Individuals and companies in Columbia and the surrounding Mid-Missouri area rely on our programs to improve their effectiveness and productivity. Emphasis is on the acquisition of work related skills utilizing state of the art research, instruction and technology. Business seminars, computer classes and skilled trade and industry training are offered to individuals through open enrollment classes. To meet the staff development needs of companies, we offer both open enrollment classes and custom designed seminars and programs through the contract training program. Additionally, individuals and companies alike have found our on-line and Interactive Television (ITV) classes offer an extensive variety of topics and are a valuable option for those seeking a flexible learning format.
